Grappler #2 (with Xander Seabolt) vs Sunny Daze
Sunny jumps the Grappler from the get go and is all over him. An eye poke turns the tides for the Grappler before a corner 10 punch. Grappler goes for a scoop slam but Daze is way too big. Seabort distracts the ref but when Daze turn around he gets the pin on a brand new Grappler. However the Grappler doesn’t kick out and it turns out it’s Georgia wrestling legend Todd Sexton. He issues a 6 man challenge between the Grapplers and Seabolt against Sexton and Happy Madness.
Crystal Rose vs Rosario Grillo
Rose rolls up Rosario with him crying and complaining on the microphone as the ref counts the 3. He wasn’t medically cleared so I’m not sure if this one will stand for the record books.
Dr. Brock promo with Xavier Reyes as he desperately tries to hold JBE together. Dr. Brock has a voice that is both annoying and demanding of attention. I always enjoy hearing him speak.
Xavier Reyes (with Dr. Brock) vs Jaden Vain
This is honestly just a slaughter. Xavier is always on the attack and Jaden’s only hope is a slight flurry of offense that ends with Xavier catching a crossbody. Xavier rolls through and snaps his ankle with the ankle lock.
CT Keys vs Jacob Ashworth
This was a great heavyweight boss fight. Two former champions both lighting into each other and it was a welcome change of pace as the aforementioned matches were more of angles than actual contest. CT counters Jacob’s technical prowess with pure strength. CT misses a senton and Ashworth catches him with a hip toss, scoop slam, and elbow drop. Both men trade tough shoulder blocks in the corner before Jacob hits two consecutive trailing clotheslines. CT goes to safer ground outside the ring and the crowd at SFCW sure are bold calling CT a coward. CT with an impressive showing of power by picking up Jacob by the legs. CT gets a lariat to the back before a urinage and a cross face. Jacob reverses the cross face and hits a full Nelson slam for a two. CT looks to cheat with his chain but Jaden intervenes however it’s all in vain as the distraction only hurts Jacob as it keeps the ref from counting a pin. CT wins with a huge pounce. So far best match on the show.
Tayo vs Tyler Stevens
Stevens with a clear size advantage but that doesn’t keep Tayo from trying to knock him down. Unfortunately his series of clotheslines bears no fruit. Stevens tosses him across the ring with ease but misses a corner splash. Tayo can land some punches but no one is home on the drop kick. Stevens hits a a whirlwind urinage. Stevens hops on the microphone and says he had something to say. He calls out Adrian Hawkins.
SFCW Classics Championship
Champions Adrian Hawkins vs Tyler Stevens
Stevens overpowers Hawkins with ease. Slight stutter step before Stevens hits a shoulder tackle. Hawkins guts Stevens but it doesn’t cut his strength by any measure. This match is taking a second to get going as after a bit of action they go back to chaining. Snake eyes on Hawkins is which sends him to the outside. Stevens follows him around ringside and continues wailing on him in the ring. Hawkins fights back but it isn’t enough to keep Stevens off the offensive. A lot of choking and stomping before Hawkins exits the ring. Stevens with a hard buckle sidewalk slam combo for a 2. He misses another splash in the corner but Hawkins hits two back splashes of his own. Foley line takes both men outside. Big flying nothing and Stevens responds with a big boot. Roll up brings this match to a closer Hawkins wins but Stevens hits a dvd after the bell out of frustration. This match was slow with no real high points and Stevens offense needs some more work. The Approved are out and Rob Adonis runs out Stevens.
Judais and Marcus Kross and Kenway vs The Approved (Nick Halen and Bobby Moore and Rob Adonis)
The Approved quickly isolate Marcus. Rob Adonis and 2022 GWH Wrestler of the year Nick Halen are both taking a special enjoyment out of beating up Kross. Kross fights up with a nice jaw breaker hurricarana combo. Kenway is in with a big back body drop on Halen followed by a forearm in the corner and a couple of chops that make the champ wish he was anywhere but in the ring. Kenway shows his power with a uranage but he’s in the wrong neighborhood and Rob Adonis distracts him before Halen hits a running STO. Approved working over Kenway with a series of slams and chokes. Bobby returns the chops to Kenway that he dealt to Halen. Judais leads the crowd in cheering for Kenway but the energy is snuffed out by a double A spinebuster. Halen with a suplex and pins that smother Kenway but nothing that nets a 3 count. Bobby Moore antagonizes Judais but is given a huge German suplex for his troubles. Judais is in and Bobby Moore is instantly eaten alive by the big man. Rob Adonis tries to make his presence felt but feels a Kross Moonsault instead. Game breaker and chokeslam at the same time. You could see Halen blind tag but there’s no way to see if Kenway did the same. A well executed finish that provides evidence that even though Judais is a monster Halen is a genius and possibly has the upper hand.
Strap Match
Billy Buck vs Will Kaution
They’re surrounded by the numerous SFCW fans. Will comes to the ring in a hoodie however it’s soon shed and can’t protect him from the wildness that is Billy Buck. Will is the first to be beat by the fans. When Billy goes out the fans opt not to beat him as they did Will. Will takes over after his second time in the sea of straps. Will deals out his own punishment instead of relying on the clearly bias fans in the match. Fans show respect and seldomly hit Billy although he’s clearly vulnerable on the outside. Billy fights back valiantly but Will just has too many answers for him. The answers by the way are big boot, neck breaker, and senton in that order. There’s one fans who strikes are laughable. Will isn’t getting any help from the faithful in beating Buck. Buck responds with a big clothesline and a few running bionic elbows before a back body drop. Will is back outside and is chum to sharks. Buck with a double A spinebuster maybe double B. Buck gets a belt from the ref and I guess wrestlers can also whip people. Will with a low blow while the referee is distracted. Buck shot sends Will outside the ring and he sends a fan inside the ring. Will hits Billy with a belt buckle for the 3 in a great finish that no one could’ve seen coming.
